In the 8th installment of our weekly microsite series, “Behind The Hashtag”, we tell the story of #PlutoFlyBy. The hashtag used the moment when NASA lifted the veil on planet Pluto and shared breathtaking photos. The colors and animations chosen were inspired by that moment.

Featuring a unique hover-sensitive parallax effect with a lovely smooth touch. The page features a white, black, gray and Tiger camouflage. The long scrolling single page website includes team introductions, bios of each rider, info for racing event results, photo images and more. Slanting elements represent the volatility, danger and speed of the racing.
