The new Popp & Kretschmer website connects the traditional family business with an impressive high fashion presentation on the Web. The look and feel of the collection represents the elegance of the brand, linked with lighting effects and a Canvas 3D display – which is controlled either via mouse or via subtle gyroscope gestures on mobile devices.

Samuel D’Urso – Senior Design Portfolio

Motion designer’s portfolio showcasing WebGPU-powered 3D experiences. Features a real-time jellyfish simulation that intelligently pauses when out of view for optimal performance, and interactive Three.js case studies with rotating Earth globes and device mockups.

Built with Remix and deployed globally via Cloudflare Pages, the site emphasizes performance optimization through viewport-aware rendering, graceful degradation for unsupported browsers, and bilingual support (EN/DE). Clean typography and minimalist interface let the motion work take center stage.

Technical stack: Remix, Three.js, WebGPU, Framer Motion, CSS Modules.
