Plastic horror

I was looking for an idea for a creative website. I wanted to address a global issue and draw attention to it. The modern world consumes a lot of plastic every second and it is ruining our planet and polluting the oceans. That’s why I chose this theme for my project.

Alicja’s Desktop

alicjabuchowicz.com is a creative portfolio disguised as a retro desktop operating system. It blends personality with functionality in a playful, interactive way. Visitors can drag desktop icons and open draggable windows, giving the site a nostalgic, OS-inspired interface. A standout feature is the built-in 24-hour radio station, Rawr Radio, which streams hand-picked tracks in themed segments—think Emo Hour, Funk-o-Matic, and Divorced Dad Rock.

Each project window opens like a file, with in-depth case studies on brands like Postie and Flossie, showcasing a decade of creative direction, branding, product development, and storytelling. The site feels alive—designed to spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and reflect the creator’s multidisciplinary brain. It’s weird, fun, and completely original.
