ABOUT

SF Zone

SF Zone is a French webzine founded in September, 2016 devoted to help science-fiction writers and artists and those who want to become one.

This design is a combination of a dark navy blue to impersonate the depths of space with a warmful deep pink. Despite of its dark theme and the cold colors usually associated with science-fiction, this webdesign aims to be warmful and welcoming, like the promise of a good book of SciFi that will take you away towards the sense of wonder.

Users type any message and the system renders it as a downloadable, fully customizable graphic built on HTML Canvas — adjustable in color, scale, and composition. The result is something that can be shared openly, worn, or displayed, carrying meaning that only those who know the language can read. More than a cipher, it’s a quiet act of defiance and celebration — affirming that communication, community, and identity deserve to bloom, even
