Creative Legends

To celebrate industry legends and change-makers, Future London Academy created a website with a new series of live interviews — Creative Legends. Creative Legends is part of an ongoing interview series with the founders of the world’s biggest agencies like Maria Giudice (Hot Studio), John Maeda (Microsoft), Stuart Trevor (AllSaints) and many more. The guests share their inspiring stories and incredible leadership tips.

Samuel D’Urso – Senior Design Portfolio

Motion designer’s portfolio showcasing WebGPU-powered 3D experiences. Features a real-time jellyfish simulation that intelligently pauses when out of view for optimal performance, and interactive Three.js case studies with rotating Earth globes and device mockups.

Built with Remix and deployed globally via Cloudflare Pages, the site emphasizes performance optimization through viewport-aware rendering, graceful degradation for unsupported browsers, and bilingual support (EN/DE). Clean typography and minimalist interface let the motion work take center stage.

Technical stack: Remix, Three.js, WebGPU, Framer Motion, CSS Modules.
